“Christ, it’s hot!” Cas mumbled to himself.
He was perched on a ladder on his back patio working to move a roof truss into place. Building a roof over the patio space was something he had wanted to do since he moved into the small rambler two months ago.
The sun was blazing down on his bare chest, shoulders and back and sweat was dripping off his face. He grunted as he lifted the truss into place and set it. Cas reached down and pulled the nail gun from his tool belt and jammed a couple of nails in to anchor it. Placing the nail gun back on the hook of his belt he stood upright on the ladder rung and stretched, letting his back crack.
He wiped his brow on his forearm and started down the ladder as his sister, Jillian, came around the side of the house behind him.
“Hey, Cas!” she called.
Cas jumped and almost lost his balance on the ladder, pinwheeling for a second before righting himself.
“Jesus, Jill!” he muttered. “You almost killed me.”
Jill started giggling and ran over to the ladder placing her hands on the back of his thighs as if to steady him. Cas waved her off indicating that he was alright and came down the rest of the way.
She stood back a bit, holding her hand above her brow to shade the sun and examined her brother’s work.
“It’s looking good, bro.” she said in approval.
“It’s coming along, I guess,” he said.
Cas reached for his cold thermos, unscrewed the cap and took a long drink of ice-cold water. “What’s up?” he asked, glancing at his sister.
“Nothin’. Just brought some food for you.”
“Lasagna. I can’t make it in small batches. So, I made a big pan and thought you’d like some.”
“Yeah, sounds really good actually.” His stomach rumbled at the thought, loud enough for Jill to hear it. “I just need to put up two more trusses and I’m going to call it a day, I think.”
He walked back out in the sunlight toward the remaining trusses to haul one over to the patio.
Jill gasped. “Oh. My. God.” There was a hint of fear in her voice.
Cas spun around immediately, trying to assess the threat, but she was only staring at him, mouth agape.
“What?” he asked, still looking around.
“Cas, you’re burned!” she squeaked.
He turned his head over his shoulder for a look at his back, not really concerned. Jill walked quickly over to him, grabbed his arm and started pulling him back into the shade.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“Get out of the sun! Right now!” She was actually angry at him.
“It’s not that bad,” he tried to reason with her.
“Yes. It is.”
Jillian had been a Registered Nurse for the last four years and he supposed she knew what she was talking about, but he couldn’t get there. It was uncomfortable in the sun, sure, but he wasn’t too worried about it. He just wanted to get those last two trusses up and rest for a day or two.
Jill turned him around and examined his back and shoulders. Lightly brushing her dainty fingers across his skin. It made him break out in gooseflesh. That was a strange sensation.
“This is bad,” Jillian said, her tone worried.
“It’s not that bad, Jill. I’m fine,” he said.
“You’re not fine, Dummy. You’re burned. Badly.”
“Jill, I’ve had sunburns before,” Cas said trying to turn back around to face her.
She pushed his hip forward, causing him to turn back around. “Not like this, you haven’t,” she said. “Inside. Now!” she ordered.
Cas sighed, reluctant to go but just tired enough that it sounded good to get into the cool air conditioning of the house. “You’re blowing this a little out of proportion,” he said over his shoulder, but he started walking.
Jillian didn’t say anything just marched right behind him, determined to get him to safety. He grinned a little at her fussing. Didn’t really see the point.
She sat him on one of the stools at the breakfast bar and told him to stay put as she went off in search of something. He didn’t stay put. Cas got up and filled a glass with ice and water and looked out the window above the kitchen sink at the bright sunlight and his back yard. HIS backyard, he thought. It was his first house; bought with his own money that he could do anything he wanted to, inside or outside. He did have some projects in mind. All in good time. He started with the roof over the patio because he wanted someplace, he could sit outside and enjoy the garden he had installed last month. Just sit and hang out, drink a beer and do nothing as sometimes men want to do.
Jillian came stomping back with an accusatory scowl on her face. Internally Cas was laughing. Outwardly, he was waiting calmly. She was really cute when she was angry.
Jill was a tiny thing. Tall for a girl, he guessed, at five-feet-seven, but she was rail thin with small breasts and narrow hips. Her shiny, auburn hair was pulled up into a messy bun and she had on a Küçükçekmece Escort loose black tank top over a sports bra and white jean shorts.
She cocked her hip and rested her fist on it and pointed at Cas with her free hand. “You don’t have any aloe.”
“What the fuck is aloe and why should I have some?” He asked feigning boredom. He also knew what aloe was.
“It’s good for burns, you dick!” she shouted at him.
Cas held up his hands in mock surrender, glass of water in one hand. He figured he’d better start diffusing the situation before she started throwing fists at him. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know,” he lied.
Jill softened a bit and walked to him again. “Put your hands down.” She said. He did and she reached for his arm, presumably to turn him back around for another examination. He flinched away from her reach in grand dramatic style.
Jill started giggling and whined, “Stoooop.”
Cas chuckled a little and turned back around. Again, she examined his back, running her fingers up and down the toasted skin lightly. The sensation was not quite pain and not quite pleasurable. Maybe a little of both.
“This is going to get worse,” Jill stated flatly.
“I think it’s going to be fine,” he said.
“It’s going to blister. A lot,” she said. “I’m going to run to the store to get some things for this. You stay inside. Out of the sun, you hear?”
Turning around, he said, “Yeah, okay.”
“I mean it,” Jill said. “If you go back out in that sun while I’m gone, I’ll kill you. You don’t realize how serious this is.”
“Under penalty of death, I promise not to go back outside,” he said in a solemn oath.
She grinned at him and left through the front door. Cas took off his tool belt and set it by the back door and sipped some more water. The cool air felt good against his bare skin. He grinned absently thinking about the fuss his sister was making. She was such a tiny thing, but she had a knack for getting her way. He didn’t know if that was just with him or in general, but he thought it was probably part of what made her a great nurse. They’d always had a great relationship. Growing up there was plenty of teasing and sometimes arguing, but overall, they had a strong relationship from the get-go.
Cas was three years older than Jillian, pushing thirty and freshly divorced. His wife of three years decided to have an affair. He didn’t know why, and she couldn’t, or wouldn’t tell him. He filed for divorce the day after he found out. He wasn’t one to waste his time with shit. He loved her but that went away when she cheated on him and all he wanted to do was get away from her. So, he moved back to his hometown and bought a house. He didn’t have any children as Ashley, his ex, was unable to bear them. He would have been fine with that, would have been happy with her. But when they found out, Cas guessed she saw it as a free ticket to fuck whoever and whenever she wanted.
While Jill went into school for nursing immediately after graduating high school, Cas had been working as a plumber. In his area plumbers made a stupid amount of money and he had saved up a good amount. He’d always been good with his hands and working on his small house had become a hobby. There were three bedrooms and one bathroom along with a living room and kitchen and an unfinished basement that was on his list of projects, as well as a small garage.
At twenty-six Jill was still single. She’d had a couple of boyfriends over time, of course, but nothing stuck. She seemed more focused on her career than anything else. She had her own apartment downtown closer to the hospital she worked at.
Their father had died nine years ago and that sent their family into a downspin for a couple of years. His father was one of the greatest people he’d ever known, and it was a challenge to fill his shoes. He didn’t think he ever would, but he tried to everyday.
Cas and Jill both spent a significant amount of time making sure their mother was okay. Their mom had a small house with a bunch of property just outside the city limits. She finally recovered pretty well after their dad, but never dated again and never remarried. She was content to live out her days with her children nearby, it seemed. She still had her mobility and her faculty and brushed her kids off most of the time when they tried to help her with anything. In a loving, motherly way, of course. Their mother was great and loved her independence.
He finished his glass of water and walked down the hallway to his bedroom. Cas pulled a tank top out of the closet and put it on but found that it created an unpleasant stinging sensation against his skin and took it back off and hung it up. He gingerly touched a hand to his shoulder and felt the heat emanating from there. Burned. Yeah, he guessed he was at that.
Cas thought a cold shower might help while he was waiting on Jill to get back and doctor him up, maybe it would help with Maltepe Escort the burning. He walked to the bathroom, pushing the door closed absently and dropped his shorts and boxers. Naked, he stepped into the shower and started the water. He didn’t want the shock of cold water initially, so he turned it on until it was lukewarm, then turned the shower head on. He let the spray run over him, the touch of the water sent the goosebumps all over him again, that weird sensation that was hard to put a description on. His skin prickled from his chest, over his shoulders and down his back to his feet. For whatever reason it caused him to get a semi-erection, though that might not have been because of the effect of the water. Since his divorce he hadn’t been getting that release at regular intervals.
He turned down the water temperature and stepped under the spray until it was hitting the top of his head and running down his body, cool and refreshing. He didn’t know if it would help with his sunburn, but mom always made him run his fingers under cold water for a while if he burned them so he figured it wouldn’t hurt. And the general rule was if you burned something, cool it down.
Cas turned down the water a little more and gasped as the water temperature went from cool to cold. He made himself stay under the spray, though. Strangely, his dick thickened and elongated more, hanging heavy in front of him. He gave in to the need as the cold water flushed over his sensitive skin and wrapped his hand around his engorged penis. Slowly he started jerking off, breathing shallowly in the cold water. He closed his eyes and reached for some visual that would encourage a quick release.
The only visual that came to mind was that of his ex on her knees in front of him. Strangely he couldn’t see her face in the visual in his mind. Her tits were out and in his mind’s eye he could see her hand wrapped around his girth, moving up and down, but she didn’t have a face, just a blank canvas. He tried to conjure her face and place it on the woman in his visual, but Ashley’s face didn’t come. He stopped trying.
Leaning his head against the front wall of the shower, he focused instead on the hand pumping up and down on his shaft. It was a decent daydream, if a little weird, but it was working. He felt that familiar tension in his balls as he built to climax, the hand in his mind aiming his dick at the perky breasts on the woman there. He grunted as he peaked and opened his eyes to watch as his cum splattered on the wall in front of him.
It was a much-needed release, but his pleasure in the act was interrupted by a gasp at the door. He turned to look and there stood his sister staring at him jacking his engorged, pulsating cock. The shower glass was completely clear, so she got a really good look. Jill lifted her hand to cover her mouth and in a breathless voice said, “I’m sorry,” and ran out of the door.
Cas didn’t know if it was shock or if he was dazed from his climax, but he just continued pumping his meat until the final drop of cum fell to the floor and slipped down the drain. He wouldn’t have been able to hit the brakes at a time like that anyway. He let the cold water clear his head while he caught his breath and then turned the water off.
Stepping out of the shower, he noted that the door was still open. In her haste to exit, Jill failed to close it. Cas patted his sensitive skin dry on his back and chest, dried his deflating cock and the rest of himself and wrapped the towel around his waist. He expected Jill to have exited the building and was worried that he might never see her again but found her at the breakfast bar with her head down on her arms.
“I’m so sorry,” she said, her voice muffled in the confines of her arms. “The door was open a little, already, I wasn’t thinking…”
“It’s alright, Jill,” he said trying to reassure her. “It was an accident.”
She looked up at him, flushed, and went a darker shade of red. “Oh, Jesus. You’re in a towel!” she moaned. She turned away and covered her eyes with her hand. “Please, Cas, go put something on.”
“Alright,” he said and turned away.
He searched for a comfortable pair of basketball shorts to put on but didn’t bother with underwear. Cas had begun rationalizing everything in his mind. It wasn’t a big deal. Just an accident. Nothing has changed. All is well.
He finished drying his hair with his towel, slipped on the shorts and walked back to the kitchen. Jill was still flushed, embarrassed, and she had a hard time looking at him. He ignored her and walked to the counter where she had placed a couple of plastic bags.
“What do we have here?”
Since Cas appeared to be NOT making a big deal of things, Jill stood up and came around the counter. She still couldn’t look at him, but she started emptying the bags.
She sighed heavily, “Okay,” she pulled a bottle of goop out of the bag first, a big bottle that said ‘Aloe Vera’ Mecidiyeköy Escort on the front. “This is aloe,” she said. “It’s really great for a burn like yours. And I’ve got some gauze and some sterile water. You need to wet this down and drape it across the worst areas.”
She was speaking fast, nervously. “The aloe will absorb quickly so you’ll need to put it on several times a day if you want to keep from blistering. Then you might still blister. It’s a bad burn. And…”
“Jill,” Cas said, a little sharper than he had intended. But he felt like she was on the verge of a panic attack and it was freaking him out a little. He couldn’t make sense of what she was saying. “Calm down. What’s wrong with you?”
She wouldn’t look at him and was breathing a little bit heavy. “I…I don’t know.” She said in a small voice.
“Just breathe,” he said calmly. “Breathe in, breathe out.” He watched as she tried to control her breathing. “In,” he said as she inhaled. “Out. Good. Keep going.”
After a couple of minutes of this she seemed to calm down. She started stealing peeks at him, but she wasn’t quite there yet. Cas asked her about the stuff she bought again now that she had calmed down a bit.
“Aloe,” she said as she held the bottle up to him. She finally looked at him, expectantly.
“You need to apply this to your chest, shoulders, arms and back,” she said. “It’ll make the healing process faster and help with the pain you’re going to have.”
“Okay, how do I get it on my back?” he asked.
She looked at him blankly. “Huh?”
He laughed. He couldn’t help it. Just the confusion on her face did him in. A great belly laugh bubbled up from inside and he let it go. Just the whole chain of events of the last half hour or so struck him as so ridiculous that he couldn’t contain it. Cas glanced at her again and her face had changed from blank to comical concern. She was certain her brother had lost his mind. It made him laugh harder. His eyes stung with laughter tears, and he had to sit down. He sank right to the floor where he was and settled into a fit of giggles.
Jill had one hand on the counter and the other covering her mouth. She was looking out the window at nothing, but she was trying to control the giggles as well.
“Oh! I needed that. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while,” he said, finally calming down.
Jill just looked at him, his fit of laughter having broken the tension it seemed. “You about done?”
“I think so,” he said in an exhausted tone. He was smiling from ear to ear. Jill was a little less pink now and things had mostly resumed to normal.
“Alright,” Jill said. I’ll hang around and put this on your back. I’m really worried about this burn. You look like a lobster that has just been boiled. I’m off tomorrow so I can hang out. I just want to make sure this doesn’t become worse.
“Alright,” Cas said. “I appreciate it.”
“Come on,” she held her hands out to him. “Get up.”
Cas took one of her hands but used the other to push himself up. There is no way she could have pulled him up. He was almost twice as big as her.
He sat on one of the stools again and Jill seemed more comfortable now that she was taking care of his burn. She squirted out a big glob of the clear gel and rubbed it between her hands and applied it to his upper back. Cas hissed and arched his back.
“Cold!” he barked.
“Sorry!” Jill squeaked. He could tell she was holding back her own laughter.
The gel warmed up after a few moments and she went to work slathering it all over her brother’s back. It felt really good, cooling, relieving. But the action of her pressing on his skin was a different sensation. That same pain/pleasure feeling. His body shook with a chill under her hands, and she paused.
“Yeah. I’m starting to realize that I might have a sunburn.”
“Duh,” she said. He couldn’t see but he knew she rolled her eyes at him.
She worked more of the gel onto his shoulders and down his arms then had him turn to face her. “You want to do your chest, or you want me to do it?” she asked.
“Go for it,” he said, nonchalant. He leaned back a little bit as she applied another large dallop of the goo to her hands. His legs had fallen open and she stepped up between them and started applying the goop to his chest and belly. Cas closed his eyes and tried to deal with the sensation across his skin. Cooling, pain/pleasure. It was an odd combination. It was so foreign to him it was all he was focused on.
He felt Jill pause in her administrations and then resume, she applied more aloe across his front and down to the waistline of his shorts. The clean smell of him mixed with the lightly pungent fragrance of the aloe almost had her reeling. Her eyes strayed to the bulge in his shorts on their own, drawn by the memory of him naked. She stepped back and cleared her throat. Cas opened his eyes and looked at her. “All done,” she said. Her voice sounded hoarse. She turned away and put the cap on the bottle.
“Thanks, Jill,” he said. He looked down at the slimy material and noticed that it was absorbing into him at an interesting rate. Then he noticed the bulge in his shorts. He didn’t have a boner, but he wasn’t quite flaccid, either. Jill was making herself seem busy, so Cas stood up and headed for the couch in the living room.
